For many years Amazon has tried to make its mark in the fashion world, however it has decided to take a different approach this time. Instead of concentrating on luxury fashion, it is now looking at selling mid-tier brands like Lacoste and Theory. Amazon has had a few failed attempts at selling luxury fashion in the past but it has now come to realize that their front end is just not equipped for the same. Also, luxury brands are keen to keep a direct control on their goods and sell it only on their websites. Amazon is trying instead to concentrate on enhancing the experience of their current customer base.
