Accessory brand Stella & Dot co-creator and chief creative officer Blythe Harris reveals candid details about her career and life in an interview. Having started her career as an assistant to a children’s building toy inventor Michael Grey she developed a liking for design and business. She attended Parsons in Paris where she pursued Accessory design and also attended business school in Columbia, as she enjoys the creation and the business aspects of her work. She took up roles at LVMH and Banana Republic before meeting Jessica Herrin, who she would later partner with to create Stella & Dot. The best part of her job she says is creating things that make people happy and working with opinionated, confident women.
