Gender and Sexuality norms are being redefined in ways that would be once considered incomprehensible. The ripple effect of this social change can be seen in the fashion world too. The Berlin based brand Boygurl for instance is blurring lines of gender and sexuality biases, with its collection which is inspired by the Kawaii culture, Streetstyle and Pop Art. The collection which is mostly tops, sweaters and Tshirts with bright witty prints and can be worn by men and women. The hashtag #nogender is being used widely on the Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages of the brand to spread a social message of being more accepting of people with gender nonconformity, an issue brought to light by Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.
